Morgan's Thoughts on Race and Black History Month

Mike Wallace interviews Morgan Freeman in this quick excerpt about his views on race and Black History Month.

To me it seems like Freeman is hinting at the fact that in order for all racism to be put behind us, we must first stop talking altogether about ourselves being of a different race. E.g.- in his interview he says, "I'm going to stop calling you a white man, and I'm going to ask you to stop calling me a black man." It is very clear that Freeman has seen a transition since the civil rights movement up until now, but part of me thinks that Freeman is fearful of what the future might (or might not) bring to the prosperity of racism within the US (and other parts of the globe, as hinted by his playing the role of Nelson Mandela in his upcoming film Invictus).
